NCERT Activity 7.1: Observe binary fission in Amoeba — watch the nucleus divide, then the cytoplasm splits, producing two identical daughter cells.
NCERT Activity 7.2: Observe budding in yeast — a small bud forms on the parent cell, grows, receives a nucleus, and detaches as a new organism. Parent remains intact!
NCERT Activity 7.3: Watch plantlets grow from Bryophyllum leaf margins — buds form at notches, develop into plantlets, detach, and grow into independent plants. Asexual reproduction!
NCERT Activity 7.4: Cut a Planaria into two pieces and watch each piece regenerate missing parts — the head grows a new tail and the tail grows a new head!
NCERT Activity 7.5: Observe spore formation in bread mould — hyphae grow, sporangia form, spores burst out and disperse, then germinate on new bread to start the cycle again!
NCERT Activity 7.6: Watch pollen land on the stigma, a pollen tube grow down to the ovary, fertilization produce a zygote, and the ovule and ovary transform into seed and fruit!
