How To Perform

Observe Planaria
View the flatworm — triangular head, eyespots, gliding movement.

Cut the Planaria
Cut it horizontally into a head piece and a tail piece.

Regeneration Begins
Blastema forms at cut surfaces; neoblast stem cells divide.

Regeneration Progress
Head piece grows new tail; tail piece develops new head.

Regeneration Complete
Two complete Planaria — each fully functional!
⚠️ Safety Notes
- •Use sharp blades with extreme caution — handle under adult supervision.
- •Return Planaria to water immediately after cutting — they must not dry out.
- •Treat living organisms with respect and minimize suffering.
